Direct shear test is a laboratory or field test used by geo-technical engineers to measure the shear strength properties of soil or rock material, or of discontinuities in soil or rock masses. Direct shear tests can be performed under several conditions. The sample is normally saturated before the test is run, but can be run at the in-situ moisture content. The rate of strain can be varied to create a test of undrained or drained conditions, depending whether the strain is applied slowly enough for water in the sample to prevent pore-water pressure build-up. Universal Extractor Frame Hydraulic. The extractor frame is used for taking out soil samples compacted or undisturbed, from 100mm dia and 150mm dia cylinders such as Core Cutters, Proctor moulds, C.B.R. moulds etc

 It consists of a 5 Ton capacity hand operated, hydraulic jack mounted on a suitable frame. Two plungers, one for 100 mm dia and the other of 150 mm dia moulds are supplied. One thrust plate for 150 mm dia and one for 100 mm dia specimens are also supplied. Height of thrust plate is adjustable

Ductility Testing Machine. This method is used for determining the ductility of bituminous materials by measuring the elongation before breaking when two ends of a briquette specimen are pulled apart at a speed of 50mm/min + 2.5mm/min at temperature of 270C + 0.50C

Since inception, we are engaged in catering to the variegated demands of the customers by bringing forth excellently designed Ductility Testing Machine. The offered range is widely used for determining the ductility of bitumen in diverse construction sectors. For this, a molten sample of bitumen in firstly poured into a standard mold, which is allowed to be cooled at room temperature. This is then placed in a water bath for allowing the briquette to be brought at test temperature before mounting it in the testing machine.
